New UAW demands ‘completely unrealistic’: Mack
Mack Trucks says a new list of demands from striking United Auto Worker (UAW) members ignores months of good faith bargaining and is unrealistic.
This after members voted down a tentative agreement that had been reached and recommended by the union. The two sides plan to return to the bargaining table Monday.
“Unfortunately, the new UAW economic demands are completely unrealistic,” said Mack president Stephen Roy. “We’ve already shown that we’re prepared to provide our employees with significantly improved wages, but we are not prepared to jeopardize the company.”

I am a long time reader of truck news always valuable information.
Jeopardize the bonuses
Of course the price of a truck has doubled in 20 years.
I’m a mechanic that fixes those trucks that have doubled in price and probably tripled in price in 20 years from 40 years.
Look at the amount of technology, emissions mandating and electronics that has gone into these new trucks. That all costs money. They don’t get to make that money and put it in their pockets all of it cost money to the manufacturer. I have not gotten a 40% raise or whatever the UAW is asking neither have you either has Mack.
The Union is a bunch of crooks doesn’t matter which one it is
I truly Hope the UAW run out of money. They are not realistic with their Demands. Come back to Reality.
Well, a a truck owner I have seen the price of a new truck double in the last 20 years. I’ll bet their net income hasn’t.
