LEHIGH VALLEY, Penn. — Mack Commercial Finance and Volvo Commercial Finance are offering some relief to their customers who have been impacted by Hurricane Katrina.

Mack Commercial Finance is allowing affected customers to skip payments until Jan. 1, 2006. The program, called Hurricane Help, is available to customers residing in counties designated as disaster areas.

Those customers should call 877-865-8623, ext. 4026 for information. The company warns that anyone who’s trucks were completely destroyed should first contact their insurer.

"The program is designed to help ease the burden of those affected by Hurricane Katrina as they work to rebuild their lives," said Frank O’Sullivan, Mack Commercial Finance business development manager.

Volvo Commercial Finance is doing likewise and its customers should call the same number listed above.

"Our goal with this program is to give those affected by Hurricane Katrina one less thing to worry about while they recover from this disaster," said Stephen Roy, Volvo Commercial Finance, vice-president of sales.
