Freightliner introduces ReadySpecGo program to simplify ordering
PORTLAND, Ore. — Freightliner has introduced a new ordering system for its Business Class M2 106 trucks which reduces delivery times and extends the vehicles’ warranties.
The company says its ReadySpecGo program provides easy-to-order, pre-spec’d trucks which can be delivered in just 45 days. The program is available to customers and dealers in the U.S. and Canada and involves trucks designed for pickup and delivery, dump or flatbed applications. The trucks have pre-determined specifications along with limited customization to meet customers’ individual needs, the company says.
“The specifications available on the vehicles in the ReadySpecGo program have been carefully chosen, offering customers pre-designed vehicles that perform at the highest standards,” said Alex Bernasconi, vice-president of sales, Freightliner Trucks. “We looked at all components and options available on the Business Class M2 106 and assembled the most proven combination for each application.”
The trucks available under the program feature MBE900 engines of up to 230 hp and Freightliner’s own axles. A variety of transmissions are also available. The trucks are covered under a three-year unlimited distance warranty. A three-year extended roadside service warranty is also part of the package.
