Freightliner unveils new financing package for 2006 Coronados
LOUISVILLE, Ky.– Freightliner Trucks unveiled a new financing program for purchasers of the 2006 model year Coronado at the Mid-America Truck Show.
The new financing package, dubbed the “Coronado Quest,” was designed exclusively for established owner/operators, said company officials.
Under the Coronado Quest program, qualified buyers have a choice of either a retail loan with a balloon payment at the end of the term or a TRAC lease.
The retail loan with balloon finance option allows owner-operators to retain the tax benefits of accelerated depreciation. A 60-month, full-pay retail loan option is also available.
“The Coronado Quest is an industry-first for owner-operators,” said Mark Lampert, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Freightliner Trucks. “Not only is this program unique and exclusive for this customer group, it makes acquiring the premium Coronado more feasible while providing them with the flexibility to meet their particular business goals.”
The Coronado Quest program is limited to purchases of 2006 Coronado tractors equipped with premium interiors, 70″ Mid-Roof XT or 70″ Raised Roof SleeperCabs, all aluminum wheels, 13-speed transmissions and engines rated at 500-horsepower and up.
In addition to the financing options, the Coronado Quest program offers owner/operators reduced down payments, low interest rates and low monthly payment options. Other benefits, such as extended Sirius Satellite Radio subscriptions, are available for vehicles financed through DaimlerChrysler Services Truck Finance and have compatible, factory-installed radios.
“Since its introduction, the Coronado has quickly distinguished itself as a premium vehicle for owner-operators.” Lampert said. “With the Coronado Quest program, we’ve designed a financing package that complements the popularity of the truck and offers a combined product offering of truck and financing that is one-of-a-kind.It reflects the commitment Freightliner Trucks and DaimlerChrysler Services Truck Finance have to providing our customers with efficient and effective business solutions,” Lampert added.
